The PC BECK BOTTLING WORKS blob top beer bottle.
This is a rarity in Lima Ohio bottles, and when I saw that one is currently listed on eBay I got excited that hey, here's a bottle I need! But I checked my collection, and found that I have it already! In two sizes!
But I can't say I have seen any others, so I'm still saying it's rare.
I researched PC Beck and he turns up in a few old Lima News mentions. The earliest I found was 1891:
"...spent some time drinking In Pete Beck's saloon, on South Main street, near Spring."

There is a Wikipedia page for the BECK BUILDING, built circa 1890, during the height of the Lima oil boom. But I can't find Beck's history before to know where he got his money.
He turns up around 1912ish on the founding board of the Metropolitan Bank, so he was still in Lima.
And now we know his name is Peter C. Beck.
And now we know his name is Peter C. Beck.
Later, in 1933, the newspaper ran an editorial reminiscing about all the many bars and saloons that had been in Lima, once upon a time.
Other than a mention of his name in his daughter's obituary, that's it. I wish I could find his obituary.
Here's the link to the eBay listing:
