2012 Fall Extravaganza -- Lots of Treasures, Lots of Treasure Hunters
Well, it was another fun Springfield Extravaganza Antique Show. I think this September 2012 was just as good as the Spring show. There were a few empty dealer spots but I think that was due to the show being a week earlier than usual. I wouldn't be surprised if some of those sellers show up tomorrow...So here are just a few of the 100's of photographs I took. I'm just sharing the ones that are more conservatively edited and give you a feel for what the show really looks like. My preferred editing style is definitely to the artsy-abstract-wild-colors-altered-reality side, which you can check out on my photography blog, Marianne Dow Foto Blog.
These pix show mostly the shabby chic / vintage / cottage looking booths and tents. The show has tons of other stuff, including lots of real antiques, vintage advertising, etc. I bought pottery, toys, books, a t.v., jars, and more, not pictured. This is just the first batch of edited photos. More to come soon.
