Spent the afternoon setting up my booth at the Urbana Antique Show. Here are some snapshots of my tables. The weather is supposed to be nice, not snowing, so I hope there will be a big crowd of shoppers.
Did a little shopping of my own when I was there today. Picked up this cool elephant ceramic garden seat (pic to come), and I couldn't resist this huge ceramic lobster. It's over a foot long, and is a ceramic whiskey decanter. It just was so weird looking I had to have it. I have a few other lobsters, but this one is the biggest.
See that gorgeous 30" TALL blue oil jar / floor vase that Mr. Lobster is sitting on? Jeff ran down to the Heart of Ohio Antique Mall in Springfield, and scored it for our collection. So the shopping was very good today. Let's hope that tomorrow the selling will be even better!
Then to top the day off, we went out to dinner with some of our fruit jar collector friends. Bruce "BallJarz" Schank, and Heidi and Russ "Mr. Atlas" Crupe. Had a great time visiting and talking about our collections, and bottle shows. Good times!
